PLAYA DEL COCO is one of the premier dive locations in Costa Rica.
Located on the Papaygayo Gulf the Catalinas Islands are one of the best places to see manta rays and schooling rays and the nearby Bat Islands host congregating bull sharks. Also common in the waters nearby are amberjacks, coronet fish, grunts, octopus and moray eels.
During December to May there is a good chance to swim with migrating whale sharks.
Our recommended dive operator in Playa del Coco is Summer Salt on the main street, visit their website HERE
Just wanted to say that I had a great experience with Summmer Salt. Their staff and service was excellent and the diving was great. They made me feel really comfortable and even emailed me some pictures they'd taken on a couple of our dives. I'd certainly recommend them to anyone staying in or around Coco. They even offered me a cheap boat pickup service because I was staying at a hotel in Playa Panama which is located a few kilometers north of Coco.

j'ai plongé avec toute l 'équipe de Summer salt, il y a quelques jours et j'ai adoré. Ils sont très professionnels et très serviables. Les divemasters nous ont montré langoustes, murenes en tout genre, cheval de mer et raies par dizaine. La visibilité était extraordinaire ce jour là, presque 25 m. Il parait que c'est normalement aux alentours de 10/15 m. Je conseille vivement ce club, tenu par un couple franco suisse, on y parle au minimum 4 langues. Petit café/ biscuit à 8H30 et snack gargantuesque entre les deux plongées;
Gracias encore et pura vida...

OMG , pensez-vous voir ce qui se déroule en Syrie? En dépit d'une répression brutale du gouvernement , les manifestations continuent
