Most of the bars and restaurants in Playa del Coco are on the main street leading to the beach:

On the beach, Coco's Seafood Restaurant and Papagayo Pura Vida , on the main street,have good fresh fish and ceviches. The best 'cheap eats' and indeed the best casado in Playas del Coco is Papagayo Soda opposite Coco Verde Hotel.
La Dolce Vita- pictured above- has the best pizza in Playas del Coco and is a great setting for an Italian pasta dinner. At the Hotel La Puerta del Sol, 200mts off the main street is El Sol y La Luna, another of the many good Italian restaurants in Coco.
The restaurant at the Pato Loco serves a good breakfast from 7-10.a.m. A cheaper breakfast is Soda Terista on the opposite corner to the Police Station, great bacon & eggs for about USD$3.
BARS:
The locals(gringos and ticos) favourite bar is La Vida Loca with pool tables, great bar food and the best music in Playas del Coco.Visit their website HERE
ZoUK Santana on the main road is a newly opened stylish Italian bar with guest DJ's . Cafe de Playa is a beachfront Italian bar/ restaurant with sun loungers and great green salads.
