BREAKFAST: EL VELERO HOTEL- Perfect location on the beach, good 'American' style breakfasts and watching the waves crash on to the beach whilst eating is free!!

LUNCH: LABERINTO-Right on the beach! Tico owned and managed but popular with all the local expatriates. Good food, friendly , music and karoake some nights.Click HERE for a view from your seafront chair

COFFEE: Dragonfly Cafe- Great coffee and terrific sandwiches( we recommend the smoked salmon with capers and cream cheese), smoothies and a selection of international newspapers/magazines to read in the air conditioned cafe or take them home or on the beach.

DINNER: GINGER- Smart restaurant(pictured above) on the 'main' road just after the second road that turns left to the beach. Asian inspired dishes, beautifully presented with great cocktails! Also good- though expensive- is the French influenced food at Villa del Sueno and the BBQ on the beach, Wednesday and Saturday night at the EL VELERO is a local institution, the lobster is the best in town!

DRINKS: At the El Velero Hotel on the beach (happy hour 4.00-6.00). . The Upper Deck Sports Bar has a large screen showing all the big sports live. It is on the main road at the Hermosa Heights development.
