BREAKFAST/ BRUNCH: Our favorite place for breakfast/brunch is the Coco Coffee Company opposite Coco Verde Hotel on the main street. It serves the best coffee in Coco and does great bagels, muffins, and hearty sandwiches in comfy air coditioned surroundings. Free parking is ususlly available right in front.
The restaurant at the Pato Loco does a good - though not cheap- breakfast from 7-10.a.m. A cheaper place to have bacon & eggs and cafe con leche--coffee with milk- is Soda Terista, the pink soda opposite the Police Station.
LUNCH: Enjoy a pizza sitting outside in a pretty courtyard at La Dolce Vita.The best casado is Papagayo Soda opposite the Coco Verde Hotel
SEAFOOD: The best seafood restaurant in Playas del Coco is Papagayo Seafood on the main road with additional seating at the upstairs bar.
DINNER: Cafe de Playa, (pictured above) on the beach with great Italian food, wine and sunsets for free!
BAR FOOD: The best bar food in Playas Del Coco is La Vida Loca on the beacfront. Good daily specials like meatloaf with mash potatoes and gravy, good cheeseburgers and on Sunday German food.
