BREAKFAST/BRUNCH: A fruit shake -en agua or con leche, with water or milk- at Shake Joe's on the beach.
LUNCH: BAR MELI- In the corner of the football field. The seafood soup( pictured above) is good!
DINNER: JARDIN MARINO- on the main road near the beach, its full of ticos and does the best fish with garlic fillet in samara. EL DORADO is Italian owned and serves the best pizza in Samara as well as great seafood!
EL SUENO TROPICAL, outside of town, is ´romantic´and the food is good- cheap eats that are good are Sheriff Rustic Soda on the beach and Jardin Marino both serve good value 'casados'.
El Lagarto restaurant on the beach does great BBQ fish, chicken( pollo) and steak.
DRINK: La Gondola on the main road has pool, table tennis and decent tunes though its often empty during the week in low season. Las Olas is the beach bar open til late with pool, table football and occasional local DJs playing reggaeton, Bob Marley and beach bar music!!
